HOW THIS WORKS

• This mentorship is strictly for young creatives working in the advertising industry, not other industries.

• Book a session by clicking on your preferred mentor and picking an available slot.

• Show up on time to the Google Meet call. Whether you turn on your video or do an audio-only call is up to you and your mentor.

• Ask craft advice or career advice from the mentor.

• At the end of the call, thank them for their time and efforts.

 

DON’Ts

• Don’t abuse this mentorship opportunity by pitching your business or services under the guise of ‘collabs’.

• Don’t flirt with female mentors, stalk, or be over-friendly with them.

• Be on time. Don’t ghost your mentors. If you can’t make it, please email them in advance.

• If you indulge in any of the above, Liam Neeson will find you and will kill you.

An idea-first creative leader with over 15 years of experience, Mithun is an Executive Creative Director at FCB Kinnect. Over the course of his career, he has worked on leading brands while winning a host of awards. Besides advertising, he is also a fiction writer and has four books to his credit.

With over a decade of experience in the ad industry, Adyasha has worked with top agencies like Ogilvy, Wunderman Thompson, Saatchi & Saatchi, and most recently, McCann. The brands she handled include HP, Tropicana, FritoLay, Perfetti Van Melle, among others.

Anant is an advertising creative with over 12 years of work experience. He has worked with leading agencies like Ogilvy, BBH, Dentsu, Publicis, and most recently, BLKJ Havas Singapore, where he’s the Associate Creative Director (Copy). His work has been recognized at award shows festivals like the Effies, Campaign Crest, Adstars, Abby’s, and Kyoorius D&AD.

She talks, writes, and solves.

An alumnus of the Miami Ad School, Kanchan Bhat is an Account Director with over 12 years of work experience who has worked at leading agencies like Publicis, BBDO, and most recently, Rain Creative.

If you are an experienced ad professional, here’s an offer for you to pay it forward and give back to the community by mentoring the creative minds of tomorrow.

As a mentor, you would be making time for young creatives and sharing your knowledge, skills, and life experience to guide them towards becoming better. 

All we ask from you is an hour or two of your time once a month. Nothing more.

What do you get in return? Since BAD school is 100% free and zero-profit, we are unable to compensate you monetarily, but your service will contribute to the progress of the creative community.

Mentorship is a two-way street – we grow by helping others.
